God gave the vision of Old Landmark of Deliverance to Pastor Bland in 1995 but it was not spoken until April 1997 in the prayer group. Pastor Bland was ordained in the bible study by Sis. Linda Clark and the fire anointed her head. Old Landmark of Deliverance officially started October 1999 in the home of Sis. Debra Davis. Pastor Bland was under the ministry of Bishop M.S. Nesbitt for over 19 years until God said move.

Pastor had asked for donations towards this ministry, we paid our tithes and raised $360 in our first offering. Pastor Bland  first sermon was “Follow Me”. Upon continued prayer the ministry began to increase. Sis Varonica Richardson was her first member to give her life to the Lord. The Lord then added more faithful members, Deacon Boykins, Mother Sadie Fonville, Tina Perry, Lynn Morgan, Linda Allen, Rebecca Montague and many others. Old Landmark continually pressed, prayed and believed God.

Our first revival was given by Bishop Geraldine Bailey in March 2000. The Lord blessed and delivered. We held many more services keeping our faith in God.  Within a year and a half we moved to 1117 Corporation Parkway with a few members and great big faith. Pastor Bland prayed on this building and the Lord said “Trust Me”.

We purchased pews, drums, curtains, office furniture, tables, chairs, etc. Deacon Boykins built the pulpit, tithe box, Cross, PA system stand. Brother Anthony Eaton built the glass house. We purchased a Hammond organ and a Ford 15-passenger van. God is good. Bishop Geraldine Bailey ordained Pastor Bland and Deacon Boykins in June 2001. Pastor Bland began to minister in the Women prison. She became a motivational speaker and sponsor for RCCW.  Many women’s life have been touched. Pastor also went on the streets and to the shelters inviting souls to Christ. She even took ill in August 2002 and rebuke Satan out of her life. God is her healer!

The Lord still added – The Angels of Faith, the children’s choir; New Creation, youth choir; O.L.D. Ensemble, the adult choir; the Godly Men Ensemble and the Big Brothers & Sisters Program.  Pastor is also looking at land prospects and trusting God. Pastor told Old Landmark if we stay Elevated and Committed the Lord will SUPPLY.

The beautiful part about their first 5 years, is that they where debt-free. This woman loves Old Landmark and God with all her heart and wants to make God a people ready for the rapture.  

Our motto is: And being fully persuaded that what he has promised he is also able to perform. Romans 4:21. She is persuaded and the vision has been made plain.
